The group is entirely owned by its five partners: Christian Angermayer, Peter Brumm, Andreas Lange, Ralph Konrad and Dr. Sebastian Grabmaier. In addition, the Silvia Quandt family is a long-term strategic partner in our subsidiaries. Managerial staff also have a stake in the individual companies.
This structure ensures that our group operates completely independent from external influences. Our focus is solely on the stable, profitable and sustainable growth of the group and the outstanding performance of our investment products.

Peter Brumm, Ralph Konrad, Christian Angermayer, Dr. Sebastian Grabmaier, Andreas Lange

is founder, CEO and one of five operating partners of the Angermayer, Brumm & Lange group of companies, the leading Merchant Banking Group in Germany.
Within the partnership, Christian is the entrepreneur. In 1998 – at the very beginning of his studies at university – he founded from scratch his first asset management company, which represents the starting point of today's Merchant Banking Group. Within the partnership, Christian is responsible for Business Development, International Relations und the Investment Banking division.
Besides his entrepreneurial activities, Christian Angermayer is active in several social responsibility initiatives with a special focus on climate change and Africa. He is inter alia a member of the Advisory Council for the Global Growth Company programme of the World Economic Forum, a member of the Clinton Global Initiative and of the Economic Advisory Council for His Excellency President Paul Kagame of Rwanda.
Furthermore, Christian is a member of the supervisory board of the Cinema for Peace Foundation and Co-host of the annual Cinema for Peace Award. He is also a member of the Quadriga-Committee as well as a Co-host of the annual Quadriga-event, one of the most influential German political awards for leadership and reconciliation.

is the teams analyst and organizer, and, as group CFO, he is in particular responsible for the company's financial strength and at the same time for ensuring the growth strategy.
Peter Brumm holds a “Diplom-Kaufmann” degree from the University of Bayreuth and a Master of Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. In December 1998, together with Christian Angermayer he founded the first Asset Management Group which served as the foundation of today’s diversified financial services group. He has played an integral part in the group’s establishment, occupying a variety of board and management positions. Peter possesses many years of experience in economic as well as legal issues arising from private equity transactions. Due to his holistic thinking talent, especially in the combined areas of economic, legal and tax-related issues, he acts as a sparring partner and / or chief negotiator. In addition, he helped establish the controlling department in the Asset Management and Banking divisions. These form the backbone of six group entities, three of which are listed.
Simultaneously, together with Christian Angermayer, he is responsible for business development and therefore for the evaluation of new business opportunities. In addition to his overall group management tasks as a board member of Altira Group, he is in charge of the retail fund business.

is the strategist in the team and, together with Peter Brumm, responsible for the Asset Management activities of the group.
Andreas Lange began his professional career in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of the international investment bank Lazard & Co. He then joined forces with university colleagues Christian Angermayer and Peter Brumm to build up the group and develop its various divisions. He is actively involved in a number of supervisory board and management positions of the group, with the aim of providing substantive support in the various cycles of growth of the subsidiaries and their strategic alignment.

is the pragmatist in the team and, as COO, responsible for the seamless growth of the individual group entities, in particular the buy-and-build strategy of Aragon and of issuing house CH2. He also brings his many years of private equity experience in the German Mittelstand (SME sector) to play in the corresponding private equity funds of Altira.
Ralph began his professional career while still at college, with a placement at a management consultancy specialising in the SME sector. He then spent three years with a venture capital company run by the German savings banks, initially as project assistant and then as project manager. During that time, he successfully managed both growth and venture financing operations. He subsequently founded his own investment company with a partner. Based in Cologne, it was under his overall responsibility as managing director for four years.
Ralph Konrad then became the fourth partner alongside his current colleagues Christian Angermayer, Peter Brumm and Andreas Lange, adding the benefit of his experience in equity deals to the team.

is the team member with particular responsibility for the Product Distribution division.
In this capacity, he is CEO of Aragon AG and at the same time responsible for product selection and sales controlling within the portfolios. He is also Chairman of the Managing Board of Aragon subsidiary Jung, DMS & Cie. AG.
Sebastian studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich and at the University of Chicago, gaining a doctorate in law in 2001. From 1992 on, he worked in law firms in Munich and Sydney, before holding a number of positions in the Allianz group from 1999 to 2001, including Executive Assistant to the Board and Branch Manager for Allianz Private Krankenversicherungs-AG. Simultaneously to managing these professional responsibilities, he studied part-time at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, Vlerick Leuven Business School in Belgium and the University of Nyenrode in the Netherlands, which he left in 2002 with an MBA in Financial Services & Insurance.
